Twenty-five years ago, in September 2001, Richard Foster (Renovaré founder) and a small group gathered to launch Renovaré Britain & Ireland.

Richard Foster writes:

'For some ten years I had been watching events in Great Britain & Ireland and wondering if and when the time would be right for a British expression of Renovaré, our renewal effort. With each trip across the pond I had met Christian leaders and developed friendships, all the while waiting for the right time...Now is that time. We have come to this small retreat house to sign the official papers making Renovaré Britain & Ireland a registered charity in Great Britain.' (Richard Foster, Sanctuary of the Soul, p89).

As we mark this twenty-five year milestone, we pause to give thanks for all that has grown from those humble beginnings.

Today we celebrate:

• A wonderful team of Trustees representing Britain & Ireland
• A dedicated part-time Director, who faithfully oversees our day-to-day ministry
• A flourishing partnership with Launde Abbey, where we host two retreats each year
• A vibrant Facebook community engaging with spiritual formation resources
• A monthly newsletter reaching almost 400 subscribers
• The launch of a new resource called Youth Streams for young people
• Online courses and Reading Groups that have connected and nourished many over the past year
• And countless local churches and leaders encouraged and equipped through our work

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we are looking to raise £25'000 to continue this ministry over the coming years. As we step into this new chapter, will you help multiply what we have?
